Local Democracy Works is committed to making democratic.tools accessible to everyone. We target WCAG 2.2 Level AA for public pages, subscription journeys, and contributor forms.

Conformance status

This site is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Partially conformant means some content does not yet fully meet the accessibility standard.

Known limitations

• Some downloadable templates may not yet include fully accessible DOCX/PDF alternatives.
• Third-party embedded media relies on provider caption support.
• Historical articles published before the accessibility programme may still be under remediation.
